I learned that it is definately nature AND nurture. Genes have alot to do with it and children don't take after strangers.

I learned what REAL love is like and that there can be a pain that is undescriable when one of them is hurting in anyway and that there will be times you have to let them find things out on their own- even if it hurts you to let them discover these things! And that even after they are grown- the love and nuturing you have done , you will continue to do it no matter what happens with them!!

i learned that patience is a virtue and i didn't have any, i learned that a great many things can actually fit down the toilet before it stops ups, I learned there is no need to go and buy a ton of toys for toddlers because they just get into everything else and are perfectly content. I also learned that there is an immense love that comes from being a mother that cannot be replaced by anything. I love being a mommy!!

Sorry I don't have kids, but I have taught my mom about acceptance.
With vast people. She's a Roman Catholicm, and I'm a wiccan, She even participates in some solstice rituals.

I also taught my dad about equality,
My brother and his girlfriend were at my house, and my brother had given her a bunch of hickies, so my dad is giving him props, and high fives.
Then I get fed up with his attitude so I turned to my dad and asked,

( being his 12 year old daughter at the time)

"so can I get a hickie?"

And his tune changed right away.
I love making my parents think.

I guess i learn things from my son everyday.
He remembers me the joy of living, that i used to forget in everyday's life.
He shows me that you can learn new things everyday, no matter how educated you are.
He makes me remember that you can try new things, and forget your fears.

I have learned so many things...What unconditional love really is..That I really don't have as many patience as I thought..LOL
The biggest one of all is to have someone put so much trust in you. It is sometimes overwhelming!~!!!

to look at the world with new light. It's still so new for her I wish I could look at things through her eyes just for a day.We lose so much as we grow older somehow it just doesn't seem as magical as it once was.I hope she doesn't lose that.
