Where does opium in the United States come from?

Afghanistan is more than likely the largest supplier of opium to the world but large quanities are also produce throughout south east asia in countries such as myanmar( part of what is known as the 'golden triangle' )as well as smaller quanities in places such as mexico and parts of south america(comlumbia) with the vast a majority of it coming into the US in the form of heroin.

Opium or it's derivative, heroin, comes from the opium poppy milk which is primarily grown in Afghanistan.

I think most of it comes from Afghanistan or at least a lot of it does. We don't' use opium though. They turn it into heroin before the bring it hear, the same way they turn coca into cocaine before it is brought here.

iraq,pakistan and afghanistan!!does this sound familiar from the current events news programs?the main reason that we are in this area of the world is to monoplize the opium and heroin production of the entire world which yeilds 6000%profit from fields in asia to the streets of russia and the united states!!over 50,000 tons of opium have been harvested since the united states forces established themselves in the area!!a recent heroin bust in the white middle class enclave of anahiem ,california in orange county indicates the purpose to which the drugs will be put!!to breakdown the family structures of the middle classes and reduce the currently high property values so that "the super terrorist funding" of billions of dollars raised from congress can buy properties in upwardly mobile economic areas for investment and later re-evaluated resale after the current homeowners and their young drug-dependant children have been swept away by the lawyers fees and the corrupt judicial system that punishes the "drug victims" but not the governmental importers!!the pawn shops will do a burgeoning business as children steal and sell them tools,televisions,jewelry and appliances to pay their drug habits which increases in severity and demands upon their persons and health as they become less and less viable as citizens!!their parents will sever their relationship to them!!the parents will go broke paying their legal fees and "overdose" hospitalizations,lawyers fees for petty crimes committed to support their drug habits,and the cycle will repeeat with thousands of families putting orange county's real estate up for grabs!!the CARLYLE group,a consortium of oil shieks,texas oil barons,republican industrial magnates and twisted and corrupt politicians all have a shake in these mechanations!!the trade towers were blown up not by terrorists and certainly were not downed by the planes that struct them;but by design and "placed" explosives over a period of weeks and months by the "real" perpetrators of the "terrorism!!the Bushes,CHENEY AND HALIBURTON GROUP AND OTHERS!!!!.
