Sandpaper and bleach. And razor blades. All within easy reach, scattered on the floor. Also a diaper. You don't want poop all over the place, that's gross!

that depends on the state you live in. Each state has different regulaions for this. usually they are the same standards as a care center. My daycare provider had to go through a whole process which included a background check, home inspection, location of the home, and gets inspected a few times a year. You also have all kinds of regulations about your home. Another thing you have to think about is if you live in a community with a homeowners association, they have to approve this. Most of the time they will deny this due to the increase in traffic and legal issues.

It's going to depend on your individual state laws. For instance:
In Utah as long as you have less than 3 children (not including your own) you don't need a license) for more than 3 you have to complete an application, including meeting in front of your city council, a home inspection, and insurance requirements

state by state is different. most states you have to be certified and follow state guidelines. Like so many kids can attend. Having a child education degree helps too. At least then, you are actually qualified to teach the kids.

Check with the your local small business bureau. They would be able to give you the guidelines in detail.
