Wel you probably just miss her, and it cab be a thing that when you lost her you only noticed what you had infront of you, that's not good either. Or maybe you are lonely and you miss having someone around to be woth you, doing bf and gf things. Keep yourself preoccupied so you can stop thinking about her.

Is it English? Is he literate? I doubt it was love. Love is not about you or what you have, love is about giving yourself for the one that you love.
I think you were in lust and you miss that now. I could be wrong, but I suspect you are very young and still have much to learn about what love really is.
