In some cases, yes. I don't know how you got this fan but, I hope they're just that. A fan and nothing more; maybe you should ignore them. If you ignore them, they will become bored with you or resent you. Why not just ask why they're following you around?

How can you tell nowdays? In my earlier years we all tried to tell the diff between guys and gals (long hair) now? Platts, stalkers, reporters? 12/13year old games......
