Gravity pulls your bump down so makes it look more extended and you will also be retaining lots of fluid throughout the day which then drains when you are asleep. This is perfectly normal but you should not be sleeping on your stomach once you start to show. Sleep on your side and never on your back either because this can be dangerous to you. It is a pain if you are used to sleeping on your front, I found it really hard to sleep when I was pregnant cos I wasn't on my front.

the reason your stomach looks like its poking out one morning and its not the next is because the baby could be positioning itself to get comfortable. it is not harmful to lay on your stomach while you are pregnant but you can't lay on it for too long a period of time because you could harm yourself or the baby.

its probably a combination of bloating and the baby's position and your stomach trying to form. I layed on my stomach until it got uncomfortable. I think you will be fine, you will know when its not good to do it anymore.

The baby is moving, that is why you look different some days.
If it is comfortable, sleeping on your tummy won't harm the baby.
