I'm quite down these days.I've been unemployed since last September and this is the longest period I've been jobless so far.I keep sending my CVs and attending interviews but still nothing.I feel like I'm the only one and it seems like I'll never get another job. This is rather frustrating and upsetting.I've never been fired and have always been a good employee.
I just hope these feelings are normal.I keep being told I'm impatient but my self esteem is getting down though.

It isn't your fault. I have been unemployed since last Aug. Aug. 18 was the day of my last job. The company gave me two weeks notice without telling me because it was a contract position. Anyway, I have been registered for numerous staffing agencies for help and still they don't call me.(when I do call in availability weekly) I am getting depressed too. I am also sending out resumes and cover letters and still nothing. i do hope that we do find a job soon.

It is absolutely normal. Many of us need a job to feel complete. I am one of them. I wish I didn't feel that way...but.
I was out of work for several months a few years ago. I have a lot of experience, I am college educated and still nothing. I found that it was a trend in my community. There just were not any jobs.
So keep your head up and keep trying. You will find the right one soon. So for now enjoy your time off, hike, walk, read, etc. Because before you know it you will be back to work and wishing you had more time off.
Good luck.

employeee good spirit up! I'm sure you're a great colleague to work with. Someone out there will appreciate a highly motivated employé!
Go and get them, tell everyone you know, that you can't wait
to work again. Ask more specifically here at the yahoo forum if anyone knows of a job available in your area. But you need to let us all know what you're looking for and where! Good luck-
