I believe so, their tact has been kick a** ask questions later.
America has lost its diplomatic capability. No one wants to talk to us.
All of our adversaries are motivated and united to see an end to our nation. Our international influence is waning and its looks similar to the fall of Ancient Rome.
Yep, we've been ignorant--we allowed this administration to render us as the "evil empire."

Diplomacy may be being used now, but for the first 5 1/2 years of the administration it wasn't.
It took the most failed foreign policy in modern times for this "slow to catch on" administration to realize that diplomacy was one of the tools at its disposal.

They're using diplomacy now only because everything else has been a miserable failure.

For diplomacy to work you have to have an intelligent enemy. Since most libs have such low intelligence it would only seem natural that they could think diplomacy would work with our current enemies.

Bush has been VERY diplomatic, he has been very diplomatic with Iran regarding their nuclear program, very diplomatic and effective with North Korea. The onyl difference with the terrorists is that they attacked us, which means diplomacy is no longer on the table.
