If you can't find Escape From Colditz try Skedaddle! by Crowhurst Games. Same theme; shorter playing time. Both games give the Germans very little to do.

Yes, I remember it. It was brilliant. Creating diversions and tunnelling under the wall. Bribe the guard and climb down the rope. Excellent.
Don't know if you can still buy it in the shops.
Think I still have mine at home somewhere.
