This shows where the priorities of the liberals are. I swear, we can have anything go on in this country, but they would still worry and be concerned about abortion.. go figure!! To me protecting america should be the highest priority. We should fix the illegal immigration problem and keep security for the boarders. If we don't do this, something bad will happen on our soil again and then it really won't matter what peoples views on abortion are..

How would you feel if your parents told you, you were an accident. If that is the case it is more likely that the parents won't care for a child and may lead to mistreatment, child abuse, or even worse, negligence. If a child is the outcome of rape do you think the mother would care for the child like a normal mother. I think not. If abortion is illegal that doesn't stop the problem, you just end up with more unwanted babies in dumpsters. If someone is trying to get an abortion because they messed up and didn't use control because they were irresponsible then I would be against abortion because people need to take responsibility for their actions. If you give them the easy way out then they don't learn any lesson. If they don't learn their lesson then they are likely to "mess up" again. They need to take it like a real man or woman. Some men are not man enough to be a father, some women are not woman enough to be a mother, but no one forced them to have irresponsible sexual activity, so the responsibility of an unwanted child should lie on them and no one else. So really, the issue of abortion depends on the situation.
As far as protecting America, Afghanistan was a threat so the threat was attacked, but really, the threat will always be there because terrorist are spread all over the world, not just Afhanistan. Does that mean the USA can be justified in attacking any country that has terrorist in it, whether the country supports them or not?
As far as I know, Iraq was not threatening America directly. The problem was a civil issue. Were any nuclear weapons ever found in Iraq? If a country poses a threat by having nuclear weapons, why isn't the USA being attacked because technically they pose a threat to everyone else.
Does it sound right to interfere with the civil issues of another country that you don't run? I think Bush is power hungry and wants to control more countries than just the USA. Inoccent people in other countries die so it is a tough call, but should we interfere with other country's issues when it costs the USA a lot of money to do so? I don't see other countries coming into the USA and taking over when something comes up here in the USA. I think the USA should only attack when being attacked, you know, the rules of engagement. Terrorists from Afgahnistan attacked so that was fine, but what about Iraq? Like I said its a tough call because inocent people died in Iraq under tyranny, but that is why I am not a politician.

Liberals are for protecting America, just in a different way. Attacking other countries is not how you protect yourself. It invites hatred and more attacks against your country. And a fetus isn't a baby. When an abortion takes place, the fetus doesn't even have the capability of thought.

wow, interesting, the fact that they just went off and attacked a country for no reason other than he wanted to finish what daddy started is not protecting America, the people that attacked our country was in Afghanistan and the troops are now in Iraq, that makes no since to me nor to quite a few people, why are republicans all for making the rich richer while the poor are starving? Oh and by the way i happen to disagree with abortion.

It's not murdering a baby if it's not even a baby yet, dumbass. Do you remember being a fetus? No, thank you very much. I think it's better to terminate a pregnancy than to bring an unwanted child into the world that will suffer because of the parent's lack of ability to support the child.

Why don't you just ask God to stop allowing abortion and to protect America? Could it be... that he doesn't care? Is the only life you've ever known REALLY just a test to get in to heaven?...
