If your son is in school, he should join the drama department, if there is one. If not, find an acting school or acting teacher (call the Community College and ask for recommendations on acting teachers.) Call the Theatre Department of the University in your city and ask for acting teacher referrals.

Both of you should meet with the acting teacher(s) to discuss mutual goals. The teacher may evaluate him to determine if he has potential, so you don't waste your money.

Acting is one of THE most difficult careers one can pursue. A few great actors make it look easy, it's not!
