ALL crime is, by nature, a hate crime. And it doen't matter what color, black, white, brown.
Why is it most news organizations only show stories when white women are missing, ie Natalie Holloway?
The news organizations are a business that show what sells, not what's truthful or fair. They sell advertising and people don't advertise if there are no ratings or subscribers.

after watching the video, I don't know if these are hate crimes or not. Why are all these people just standing around doing nothing, Why didn't someone call 911.
Reading your information above, that is a horrifying story. Whether the person is black, white, red or yellow having your loved ones raped many times then killed execution style is wrong. I am glad the media doesn't show this, this makes me sad. I know it happens, but I rather go through life thinking stuff like that never happens then hearing about it.
Besides, it seems like everytime the news puts a story on TV someone has to outdo it.
Why can't we all just get along.

The same thing happens all of the time in England. If if were the other way around it would be all over the news. headlines would read "racist thugs," White extremists and how the poor black people are being kept down bye the white oppressors. I don't know why these crimes by the blacks never make the headlines i really don't

That story and this video are really disturbing and sick. But I wouldn't cast judgment on an entire ethnic group because of these single incidents. These people are just stupid, uneducated and irrational because they think they have some kind of right to go around asserting their power over others. While watching that video, I'm not going to lie that the first thing I noticed about the two imbeciles was that they were indeed black. In the back of my head, I hoped that some other person would just kick their asses out of the store. But then you have to think about the crimes that people of all other ethnic backgrounds commit. Crime can be committed by just about anyone.

I recall hearing about this. It was very brutal and almost inhuman.
I would like to know the legalities of those who were responsible. Tell me they were caught and should receive the death penalty!
And yes, some things are simply swept under the rug so to speak by the media. And I'm sure the media has orders from the top to keep things out of the media, it is election year, or an election is coming up, so don't
dare rock the boat!

A hate crime is supposedly a crime that is directed at an individual based soley on ethnicity or religion with the intent to cause harm.
The act of theft is often not a hate crime.
For all intents though, it should not matter if it is a "hate" crime or not. It is still a serious offense.

I understand your obvious disgust with the media in this country. I agree with it. But you're not really shocked are you? It's all about the ratings and being politically correct. We don't want to "offend" certain segments of our society for fear we'll be labelled as "racist". Put me on that newspaper staff where this happened, and I'll put a call through to O'Reilly myself.

No suprise here. When you own the media, you can make up the news. Thats why I don't care about the news, its always the same. Local news at 11 . . . there was a fire . . . someone was shot . . . and now for the weather and sports.
Cable News . . . its bushes fault . . . . . stocks were up . . . its bushes fault . . . stocks are down . . . its bushes fault . . . hilary and obama at a black pride parade . . . its bushes fault . . . . .

I wouldn't believe anything you hear on the news. They're not after the truth, they're after ratings. And they tend to exaggerate things.
