If this is your first time using eyeliner, don't use liquid first. Try with a pencil one and just practice. But if you really like the look of liquid try this; its a good video that explains how to apply it.

Wait for it to load, then go to eyes and select the video for liquid eyeliner. If this doesn't work search yahoo for some other videos. Good luck! If you just can't get the liquid stuff, try a dry pencil eyeliner :)

lol.. it's not that bad. u just need to keep practicing, and try to have a steady hand. here's what i do:

tilt your head back
look Downwards into the mirror with ur eyes
rest your elbow on the wall or the counter, (depending on if its' a wall mirror or a little one on the counter). then rest ur hand on ur cheek lightly, and start the inner corner of the eye. try to stay as close to lash line as possible. when you get about half way across, u can go a little bit thicker. as u practice more u can do a little wing tip "cat eye" thing.

good luck! it's good to practice w/ pencil first and then get the hang of just doing it quickly, so that when u use the liquid u are steadier

practice and liquid probably is not the best for first timers. i use a dark eyeshadow. just lots of practice and dont forget to leave the other eye opened

close your eye then put the eyeliner on.

also dont press so hard! that could damamge your eye, be gentle. also you may need a new eyeliner brush. find a soft one and flexible.

hope i helped!

Very, very carefully, and use less liner on the applicator.
