Life is full of trials and tribulations. If you wait for all the garbage to stop happening you would never get things done.
Take one problem at a time and deal with them.
Look on the bright side of things and attract positive things to you.
Do not dwell on things you can't change put your energy into something you can.
I would go ahead as planned.
Maybe if the finances are tight, you will have to scale down on something.
Maybe any big plans will have to be shelved until all calms down.
Be happy and celebrate this up coming wedding.
There are always going to be challenges in life whether you are apart or together.
Don't let them overwhelm you, deal with one thing at a time, together......

If I was you I would wait until he go's to court for child support. Because if he owes a lot of back pay and current payment and your married to him they(the state) can take your money as well. But if your willing to go though all that then marry him April 14. The bills are always going to be there. And as far as you two buy a house just wait 2yrs. Start saving. Lower your standers, most people do. Where there's a will, there's a way.

I understand how life's little problems can make you question your decisions. My fiance and I are set for 5/5/07 and in the last three months, his car broke down, he started a new job, I fell down the stairs and injured my back, we moved to a new place and a whole lot of bills came due.

We saw it as a frustration but we also believed wholeheartedly that it wasn't because we were making the wrong decision but rather because the adversity made us a stronger couple and that made a stronger marriage...think about it that way!

What harm would it do to slow things down a bit, and see what happens? Postpone the wedding for 6 months. If you have the "real" thing, nothing will change and you get married in September. You might be rushing things a bit too much to do it now!

These issues will be with you at other times as well. If your bf is still ok with the date, go for it.
