many governments are wonderful ... so long as you have a great leader.. theocracies.. communism.. socialism.. these all can be great if the people in charge are great.. but the problem with these governments is that, inevitable the lowest common denominator will come along and take control.. and in these forms of government they gain so much power that they ruin the entire system. Now, with that in mind, IF YOU (not a statement about my personal beliefs) believe Bush to be the worst president of all times, then doesn't this actually show our Democratic Republic to be the best form of government in existence at this time?

Perhaps I have explained my question a little better this time and 80% of my responses won't be "You suck for hating Bush".. when that is not the case or point of the question.

Best because we are still kicking.. if you believe him to be the worst.. he still hasn't destroyed us.

Each country-state produces great and minimal leaders. If the electorate is given the choice it will elect those most closely holding the matching values. Thusly, Bush was elected (and please no more of the "He stole the election")

Socialism, Communism and other centralized governmental forms that take away the incentive for personal choice and control inevtiably fail. France is a classic example. Her economy is in shambles.

The electorate chooses the leaders; right wrong or indifferent. If you don't like to current leadership, vote again! If you didn't vote then don't complain

All people that rise to a powerful position in a nation, do it because they have ambition and a thirst for power. You cannot rise to the top without these two personality traits. Therefore, not all governments can be wonderful. Without the threat of losing your job and a threat of consequences there are no good leaders.

I believe that the Bush Administration has indeed driven our form of Government to a low never before seen. When an administration has violated the constitutional rights of it's citizens as much as this one has and due to partisan politics remains in power, indicates the true level that we have fallen to. Being that I'm neither a Republican or a Democrat I denounce the use of partisan politics to prop up this unlawful administration. When will the rights of the people be acknowledged in this Nation??!!

Communism only works in heaven where they don't need it and in hell where they've already got it.
