this is the information and this is what i need to find..

V1=300cm3 T2=333K
T1=293K P2=4.5 bar
P1=1 bar V2=?

i followed this equation but the result is weird..

V2= P1V1T2 : T1P2

i dont know where i am wrong...

Ideal gas law. PV is proportional to nT.

We assume that the number of molecules (n) doesn't change.

So V is directly proportional to T and inversely proportional to P.

V2 = V1 (T2/T1) (P1/P2)

V1=300cm³ T2=333K
T1=293K P2=4.5 bar
P1=1 bar V2=?

The combined gas law.

...P1V1T2 = P2V2T1
...1 x 300 x 333 = 4.5 x V2 x 293

...V2 = (300 x 333) ÷ (4.5 x 293)

...V2 = 99,900 ÷ 1,318.5 = 75.77 cm³
