Your question is meaningless, because you fail to explain what you mean by a "valid point." I suspect you don't mean logically or factually valid. Rather, I suspect that you mean a "valid point" is something that you personally agree with.

I would say repugs come up with 'valid' points with a base composed of misinformation or outright lies. Such as the WMD lies to justify attacking Iraq. Libs just have not yet learned to lie as well as the Repugs but they are well on their way. Even learning how to lie with that wide toothy repug smile.
