I am getting married in a couple months, and would like to start having children right away. Who knows of a good over the counter vitamin I can take before trying to conceive?

Nature Made is really high-quality; you can even get it at Costco! With my 1st pregnancy, my midwife told me to just go to Wal*Mart and get one there. So long as your iron, folate (folic acid) and calcium are nice and on the higher side of things, you're good. Once you are pregnant or at your next "whatever Dr. appointment," bring your vitamin bottle in and ask if you should continue with it or if they suggest something else.

I just bought the prenatal vitamins that are sold at Walmart. My doctor told me that the prescription wasn't needed and basically any prenatal vitamin will do the job. But I did take extra calcium pills. Hope that helps. Good luck!!

Pretty much any prenatal vitamin is going to be good for you. A balanced diet is the best thing you can do. I have been taking Walmart's version of Stuart's Prenatals. They are pretty easy on my stomach in comparison to the Rx ones I had during my other pregnancies.

You can purchase prenatal vitamins at places like Walmart etc......they are basically the same thing that the doctor will prescribe.

Also if you are finding yourself not tolerating them well(prenatals make alot of women sick) you can get something as simple as flintstone vitamins....that is what I have taken with two of my 3 girls on doctors orders.

There are generic prenatal vitamins at like Walmart, my cousin took those after she used all the one's from her DR and I have a certified medication aid, CMA, at my work she said she just took the chewable Flinstones.

no person has stated greenback generic or kinfolk greenback. They value $2.00 a bottle for 30 pills. when I took the prescription pre-natal supplementations i replaced into already pregnant. Now that i'm attempting to conceive back i'm taking the over the counter ones.
