i was both. but i'm a girl. my dad was the boy scout leader, he made me be a part of, but wouldn't let me race my derby car. i liked girl scouts better. but i really didn't like the girls.

When I was growing up, my hometown didn't have much of a boy/girl scout program. They were more into 4H. But when I moved away, and had a son, I ended up as a Cub Scout Leader. Then I became a Boy Scout Leader. I'm still registered, so I guess I'm still a Boy Scout

Yes. I was a brownie way back in the day, and was a girl scout for a little while. I learned good things about survival, but learned some naughty things from other scouts!

Yes, a girl scout for about 2 weeks...not even long enough to get an actual uniform. I ended up quitting though, the gals in my troop were very snotty, clicquey.

I was a boy scout but quit after they cheated me in the pine wood derby. They said I contructed my car illegally right before i was about to race for the championship against the head master's son and the head master's son ended up winning.

I was a cub scout (boy scout beginner), I was kicked out for disobeying the leader. I told my parents what happened and they sided with me. :) But I never went back.
