My parents never told me about santa. My mom was apparently really devistated about finding out the truth when she was a kid and didn't want to do that to us. Once, my grandpa (against my parents wishes) had a guy dressed as santa come to their house on Christmas and I was about three years old. I had no idea who the guy was! I called him Smiley. HA HA HA!

Never I hope!
I see Santa in the person who throws a dollar in the Salvation Army Bucket.
I see Santa when a stranger stop to help a person in trouble.
I see Santa when two lovers stare at each other without a word.
I see Santa when a child laughs with joy.
I see Santa when the plants begin to grow in spring.
I see Santa in the colors of fall
Santa is all round us, the only thing we need to realize is there is not just one Santa, but millions of them and he could be you.

I was 6.
In the neighborhood where I grew up there was this guy who dressed up as Santa & went house to house delivering presents to the kids in the early evening hours when most of us were up watching for him anyways. He'd come at about 9:30 in the evening...as pre-arranged by our parents he'd come in through a open door & wake us up with the presents.
Well when I was 6, I decided to follow after him when he left our house. (my parents were busy with my sick brother & didn't notice I had left) He didn't know I was behind him and as he very cautiously went down a back alley and into our neighbors backyard. I figured he was just delivering more gifts but kept following him. I knew these neighbors very well as they were the neighborhood elderly couple and we kids always just walked in for cookies whenever we wanted.
Well "Santa" had taken off the hat & beard & was cracking open a cold one when I went into the house. I was confused & "Santa" stumbled around for a story to tell but didn't have one to tell.
No needless to say that was it for my Santa believing days.

I was about 10, and my dad set me up. He said he was going to sit on the roof with his gun and wait for Rudolph. If we had venison for Christmas dinner, it meant there WAS a Santa, but he's dead now. If we didn't have venison, it meant Rudolph never came and therefore Santa wasn't real. It was a lose/lose situation. It pretty much ruined Santa for me.

I think that there once was a man called santa ( i dont know his real name) but he died many years ago and he told people that he could fly in his sleigh. thats why no one sees him, because he lied! But really he was a fat old man who used little people as slaves and smoked drugs, thats the only reason he would be able to picture a reindeer with a rednose and be able to fly. I thank you

I was deprived, my parents refused to let me believe in Santa. "Santa isn't really hunny, he is just Satan spelled wrong."
