When you have a mental disorder, as they do, it is tough to come to honest realizations. If they would actually study the growth of a baby through the pregnancy they might have a chance at opening their eyes.

First we have to start with the basics. Morals. That has to begin very early and must be nurtured. They want to tell us what to put in our stomachs, but when we tell them that the baby in theirs is a live human being just like they were at one time, then it's "choice. I rather have a Big Mac and a baby than an abortion. Does not the Constitutional give us the right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. When the women become pregnant it is not her body any more. It is their body and I think the baby should get a vote.

Never! As long as Republicans disagree w/ abortion as a form of birth control liberals will argue the point. Moral or not they will disagree w/ Republicans.

I always get a kick of you folks that think it's only liberals who support pro-choice.
Newsweek Poll conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates International. Oct. 26-27, 2006. N=1,002 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3 (for all adults).
All adults: 39% Right to life 53% Pro-Choice
Republicans: 62% Right to life 31% Pro-Choice
Democrats 25% Right to life 69% Pro-Choice
Independents 35% Right to life 57% Pro-Choice

By your logic shouldn't ALL Republicans be against pro-choice? Or are there that many liberals in your party? Stereotyping is an easy pit to fall into - face it if you can, it isn't only liberals who support pro-choice.

Abortion isn't a political issue. For a party that stands for minimalist and less invasive government they sure do like to talk about what goes on inside a woman's womb quite a bit.
I would much rather prefer the government spend time on more pressing issues, perhaps ones that were not resolved 40 years ago.

I am a liberal and I don't support abortion. I agree that it is immoral, but that is because of my upbringing and belief system and has little to do with a political party.

why, in Gods' name, would you use Libs and moral in the same sentence? they are all about "me me me,now now now" which is why they don't care about the direction they take our great nation-they won't be around so suffer the consequences. it seems it's not only the unborn children they have no concern for, but the living also, who must live in the circus they are trying to create.
