Nope, I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I do the same thing! and when I'm sitting at my desk is when I feel the baby kick the most!
Just dont let the law stress get to you! I worked at a Law Firm (with an over-the-top Attorney .. very high strung) and the stress from his stress was unbearable! but I now work at a Development Company .. stress-free :)
*standing on your feet for 8 hours a day could be a problem ..
good luck! God bless!

No it doesn't. when I was pregnant with my son I was at my desk for 8 hours straight. The only thing is that when you get greater in your weeks and months it will become very uncomfortable to sit in the same spot everyday. Walking and exercising is very good for you. Try and get up maybe every 15 mins to walk a little. Sitting at a desk all day will make you kind of cranky. But, it is better than working somewhere where you may not be able to sit alot.

No! I also work at a desk all day m-f. I had a baby in Oct who was fine. I walked on my lunch break when i could. I have the PC tower under my desk so I would elevate my feet on that. You should bring something to put under your desk if you can to do the day. It will keep your blood flowing. Remember good posture for your back! Walk as much as you can (I know its hard I'm about as lazy as they come!) You should be fine. Do not stress. Enjoy all the time you have being pregnant. It really is the best feeling ever. Good luck and congrats!

A law firm!? Good lord gewt out before they suck your unborn's soul out! Lol Just kidding. You need to get a "nursing" stool to sit under your desk to put your feet on. Make sure you get up often to walk around a bit (your bladder should take care of this very nicely). The only real risk you run is blood clots in your legs and so long as you get up and stretch and walk a bit every couple of hours you should be fine. Just remember your body really does know how to take care of itself. If you feel like you need to get up and move around, then you need to get up and move around. For more tips on this issue you should discuss it with your doctor :) Good Luck!

no you are fine. Just make sure to try and move your legs throughout the day and keep doing what you are doing by trying to walk around when you can. A desk job is much better then strenuous work on your feet all day.

I work a desk job too and the only problem I had while I was pregnant was the chair was uncomfortable for my back. You may want to look into a lumbar pillow for better back support and you are definetly going to need a foot rest.

hi Mini Meditations could be carried out everywhere, you ought to use the noise to meditate on in case you opt for for. As you practice your meditations noise would be no longer something to you. in case you merely take a seat & drop your shoulder & concentration on the subsequent 10 breaths completely, you will have carried out a mini meditation.
