Its the only song I want to learn. And I havent learned alot about playing guitar.

really difficult to get a good result from this question. not sure how effective a q&a forum is for teaching stairway to heaven on a guitar

As a guitarist it is impossible to learn just one song and Stairway is a song that ya just dont learn without learning a buttload of different chords, finger picking techniques and dynamics. Page is a musical god and his music shouldnt be slaughtered. Its great to learn with but not to cover. Ive played for over 25 years and know alot of Zeppelin and I only cover one song in public. Its not Stairway, its The Rain Song which was actually written by John Paul jones. Anywho good luck on your quest to learn Stairway , Oh by the way you can look up the Tab at Ultimate Guitar Tabs, but if ya dont know how to play to begin with, how will you know if your guitar is in tune?

its not that hard, its just a little bit technical, there are plenty of places to find guitar tabs to learn how to play it, assuming you know how to read guitar tabs. Its the most covered song of all time on guitar. just type in stairway to heaven tabs on your search bar, and you will have thousands of hits. I cant tell you how to play it on here, you should look on youtube.com for a video of someone playing it, then read the tabs and play along with them.

find out how to read music and find the sheet of music for it. someone cant just tell you how to play it man...you will have to practice...that's a pretty hard song to play if you have very little to no experience on guitars. there's a lot of picking involved and by the time you can play that song you will be good enough to play a lot more songs...lol

you play the chords that are required in the order they are supposed to be played, for the duration they are supposed to.
