your A/C system is slightly low on freon charge which in time causes the coil to freeze up and restrict air flow. have it serviced, this is normal for a car a few years old. if its a new car it may be under warranty.

Have your AC cleaned. The cooling coils may have accumulated some dust and dirt and these are collecting moisture or icing over. The collected ice or cold water is probably all over the thermostat sensor so its making the airconditioning system think your A/C is too cold and shuts off the A/C compressor.

Maybe you need to check the Radiator or the Farion gas level in the pipes these are the main reason of making problems with your cooling system

perhaps you are leaking freon in your a/c system. you should check to make sure that your system is fully charged and find the source of the leak.
