Yes, but not on older computers, my laptop has this option.....
You will need to check in your bios to verify whether or not your computer can boot from a usb device. Computers made within the last year or two can.
Keep pressing the ESC or Delete button while booting to enter the bios screen, only one of these buttons needs to be pressed to enter the bios, but im not sure which you need so I suggest using both..... You will need to check the boot devices, and see if booting from a usb is an option, if it is, it needs to be set,
cd boots first
usb boots second
hard drive boots third.....

If any of this isnt clear, email me...........

Yes, that is possible. You can install XP Pro on the external USB drive and boot from it when it is plugged into the computer.

External USB drives come with a lot of disk space so you should probably get the cheapest one. Here is one:

nicely, I don`t imagine you may installation an OS on an exterior stress. in the starting up, because it may connect by USB, and usb works in undemanding words after the OS is loaded on a computer, so that you wouldn`t have a connection with the exterior stress. at the same time as booting, the bios seems on the available drives as well from, in spite of the undeniable fact that it doesn`t see the the usb instruments. So it can't boot from it.

Yes, It is possible. Thought it might arise problems later. Your better off installing an OS using an Internal hard drive, the hard drive inside your computer.
