There's an enormous amount of ignorance about and anger toward women displayed by some men in this forum.
Would you say that in your experience of life women have been, for the most part, helpful, generous, enjoyable to be with and not particularly bitchy?

Except when you're arguing with them of course. ;)

I agree, women are amazing creatures, the world wouldn't be the same without them.

By the way, I am 15, so I'm not sure that I classify as mature enough :P.

However, I do agree that sexist men make it extremely easy for users like babayaga to dismiss all critics of feminism as women-hating chauvanist pigs.

I think you have misapplied "women" when the focus should have been "feminists", which includes some misguided men as well as women.
It is slightly odd that you see the "enormous amount of ignorance about and anger toward" feminists while remaining apparently completely ignorant of the enormous amount of ignorance about and anger toward men, and not just those who lean toward anti-feminism but all men in general who do not kowtow to the sexism that is feminism.
There are several women posting here that have respect of most, if not all, men. Alexandra comes immediately to mind and there are others.
For the second part of your question: yes, the women I choose to associate myself with are intelligent, fair and open-minded. They are a pleasure to be around as well as stimulating. They are not particularly "bitchy", at least no more so than the men with whom I associate. Everyone, at some time or other becomes a little "bitchy", but this is the exception rather than the rule.
In my experience, there has been a correlation between feminism and bitchy as if it were a prerequisite. Personified , feminism is to me, much like a junk-yard dog with a toothache, willing to do all manner of evil for the slightest perceived wrong.

I like your question,,,if you look at my profile you will see that I do meet the requirements for being mature. OK with that said,

I enjoy reading many of the questions on here by both girls and boys. Some show maturity and some it is easy to see they are quite young.

Most of the girls questions center around their interests: am I too large, how can i fix my hair, should I date this guy or that guy, and how do you kiss. These are from the younger girls and even answer some of them. Women are generally helpful and generous and enjoyable to be with. Some even get a little "bitchy". But over all women are fun to be with and to talk too as well.

All most all my answers to them and others are given with my many years of life's experience and even a lot of research.
The one thing I do find is that the girls do tend to use poorer sentence structure than the boys but the boys spell much worse.

Just get out there and enjoy life...and life will enjoy you!

I hope I answered your question the way you wanted..if not...well have fun anyway...

I for my part can not speak for everyone here but I think most adressed the biased laws and doubel standards feminism achieved and feminists and not women per se.
The women I have been with have been indeed enjoyabel, yet if one plans to enter a long term relationship, her beeing aware of no fault divorce and the fact that by law she has no obligations and I have all the obligations financially speaking, could affect the relationship turning it into a powerstruggel, which is not a struggel really since she can decide to divorce me anytime, while staying married to my wallet.
So yeah this absolute power a woman gains as soon as she is in an long term relationship or marriage can corrupt her mind and poison the relationship as the high number of no fault divorces filed by women in expectation of alimony would suggest.
So there are little incentives to "built a life" with ONE woman. They are best dealt with like tv sets. As soon as it starts acting up on you there is little hope to fix it since it will break down on you anyway sooner or later you are better off getting a new one right away.
Of course if she does not act up over an extended period of time and her mom has a clean record, meaning she did not take hubby to the cleaners, marriage is still an option for me however it is not a given the way it used to be, since with the high divorce rate alone there are many unmarriagabel girls around.

It seems like a big fat cosmic joke sometimes, the way we see things differently, enough to make us stab at each other with words, and accusations.
However, I think what we struggle with in today's world is the media, and how we are expected to behave, and what results we should precipitate.
The media tells us that men should be stodgy, less understanding, sitting with our boys with beers, and watching a game. It constantly threatens our egos and masculinity by putting forth scenarios in which men are gay if they don't act this way.
And they tell women that they should be expecting more and more and more, showing them the good life. They are told that it lies at the end of a very rigid pathway. Any straying from the path is punishable. It is reinforced from childhood, the networking that goes in between women, and how they judge each other.
It is strictly based on economy. The machine guides us on the path to happiness, and strips us of money along the way.

Women aren't bitchy. They have a whole media monster behind them, guiding them on how to live. How can men compete with a cash oriented belief structure?

People come in all shapes, sizes colors and attitudes.

EVERY SINGLE type of person you can imagine exits.

FOR THE MOST part, everyone, I suspect, has a positive and happy attitude towards the opposite sex. THERE WILL always be extremes, and I have not seen many in here though, but they are not worth the time and effort to deal with.

I would much rather listen to and interact with some people who have something to contribute.

Do not waste time with small minded people.

EDIT :::::: Geoffrey
So you don't like my 1st answer, eh? Well fine I will answer it. Yes for the most part the women have been enjoyable to be with and not particularly bitchy. I can't speak for helpful as I never ask for help and I've never seen a woman offering help either. I also can't speak for generous as I never ask for anything from anyone. I've met a few REALLY bitchy women however, but for the most part they were fun to be with (most of the time anyway)

I dont necessarily see anger and ignorance towards woman. What see on these forums is a lot of young, immature teenagers, dealing with growing up, unable to express themselves vocally in their pier groups and so release a lot of anger here.

There is more from the boys aimed towards girls, maybe they see them as the lessor sex, or maybe you are correct in saying they have problems with women role models in their life.

But I do believe it comes from teenagers angst. The mature mans problems with women is a whole other kettle of fish.
