How would i plan a trip to Amsterdam?

I really want to go to amsterdam! What is an easy way to plan it? Such as hotels, travel, and what to do there. Is it expensive? Fun? And ideas or reccomendations?

It's a very fun place to visit and like most of western Europe it's easy to do.

You should be able to book your flight and hotel directly through KLM airlines, the dutch carrier. You can also do it thought any site like travelocity, etc.

Staying in central Amsterdam is best as is with most cities. It's not as expensive as most major European cities, but that is not saying much with the current dollar to euro exchange rate. There is so much to do and see it would be way too much to post in this type of forum. You can message me if you wish for more info.
