I've been reading about the benefits of apricot kernals, from where Vitamin B17 is extracted and how it is a cure for cancer. Why is'nt it more known about and used more widely in cancer clinics?

There is no cure for cancer, including vitamins.

However, eating a daily variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, which are full of vitamins and nutrients, will prevent cancer.

Because vitamin B17 is an invention. Its not a real vitamin at all. It is double speak for cyanide. People with already compromised immune systems and children are at serious risk for cyanide poisoning when they take this product on their own.

There is currently no documented scientific evidence that proves that laetrile or cyanide is any benefit to patients with cancer.

NCI: Laetrile/Amygdalin

You would think that if laetrile worked that it would be easy to prove just by doing a Clinical Trial. Bottom line is that this theory has been around long enough and no one has been able to provide any conclusive evidence, so why bother with it when there are plenty of other 'poisons' out there that will do the job quickly, efficiently, safely, and is known to kill or slow cancer growth.

This subject is taboo. cancer is a huge money making industry for "BIG Pharma" and the so called health care industry. It is illegal to claim that anything beside a drug can treat, prevent, or cure a disease, but the truth is that when B-17 and cyanide (both found in fruit seeds including appricot kernels) are combined the only thing they are deadly to is CANCER.

There is a cure for cancer and many people have been cured by it. Of course Doctors do not want you to believe this because more than 500 billion dollars are spent every year on cancer treatment alone in America. Sad.

Well, I can't definitely say it won't cure cancer, but as far as I know there really is no cure for cancer. However I do know this........alopathic medicine wants to believe that they are the end all when it comes to cancer treatment, and quite frankly their technology isn't as far progressed via chemo, radiation therapy, along with a multitude of other treatments as they would like us to believe. I know this fact simply from having lost 3 close family members to cancer. I do know that by using natural medicine, and particularly Traditional Chinese medicine, that the effects of cancer can be "slowed" or even make symptoms non existent during chemo, and other drug treatments that have severe side effects during the course of treatment. I also know that cancer causes acute auto immune disorders and tons of problems with the liver both of which are very treatable by natural means, by often times helping to ward off serious infections and jaundice. Unfortunately there are no "known" cures for cancer, but if you have a loved one that is suffering from some form of cancer, I'd say check out Cancer Treatment Centers of America; they have a wonderful integrated philosophy that both Eastern and Western medicine has a lot to offer together in the cancer realm. Hope it helps.

Because it'd put the pharmecutical giants out of pocket. In fact I have heard if anyone tries to claim a cure a cancer, even if it were true, they miught end up in prison. I've heard of one guy in the States that was ablr to cure cancer, his home was broken in by authorities, was arrested & put in prison.
I'm frightenend to think how much money they'd lose if people stopped suffering from major illnesses. In my eyes, these people are worse than murderers!
anyways,I hadn't heard of apricot kernals curing cancer, but Essiac, which is a herbal preparation is supposed to have been very positive in treating cancer & is taken as a tea.(please type in google for more info).
Also please see this link for more info (this is a wondeful site I consult for advice for diet, nutrition, vitamins & supplements & natural & alternative remedies)

Do you own research on it and come up with your own conclusion. There are too many people brainwashed into thinking that drugs are the only cure for cancer. Hello....if a drug is supposed to cure cancer, why are people losing their hair and getting terribly ill after taking the treatments? The answer that EVERY doctor trained for 10-15 years will give you is that there is only one way...drugs. And it's because that they are only taught one way of curing people...through pharmaceuticals.

Because it's not true. There are SO many companies out there that make false claims on their products (such as this) and they haven't done one clinical trial on it to test for safety or effectiveness. Know why? Because it will do NOTHING. The FDA fines these companies all the time for their false claims. The companies go bankrupt and then come back with a new name and yet another bogus product.

Sorry this is of course drivel. Which is why of course real doctors who go to university and spend 10-15 years in training don't use it. In the same way as they don't advocate any of the 10 million other remedies that are just useful for lightening your wallet and buying big cars for charlatans.

No. That is an old theory and it was considered a possible cure in the 1950's. It will not help or cure cancer.
