I had the same thing that went on for almost a year. I was treat by my doctor for a urinary tract infection. I took probably every antibiotic on the market. Finally, I consulted a Urologist. I had a kidney stone lodged between my kidney and bladder that was almost the size of my thumb nail. I had to have surgery to have it removed. Do Not Play around with this. Find a urologist, and take your son to see him/here NOW! If it's not a kidney stone, then it's likely that he has acquired an STD. The fact is, either way, it has to be taken care of.

Can you please take your son to the doctors, there are lots of different bacterias out there and if left untreated they get worse. I had pains in penis testes and groin / prostate pain and was non identified bacterial infection but cause i left it for so long im only just recovering now and still get some shooting pains cause of the internal damage done by bacteria, but couldnt say what your son has, maybe kidney stones, if they're small enough they can give him medication to dissolve them and get rid off em, So see doc tomorrow and drink 2-3litres of water a day
