i know tanning is bad for your skin and can give you cancer and do serious damage, but i can only understand that if you do it constantly like everyday. i only go for about 2 months about twice a week for prom then i stop for the year. is that bad for me?

Tanning exposes your skin to ultraviolet rays. The damage from these rays is cumulative. This means that 16 one hour exposures is equal to 32 half hour exposures, etc.
So the answer is that it is bad for your skin, but not as bad as if you did it twice as much.

I know people who are briliant white and have had skin cancer. So prudish never exposing their skin
If you take care and use UV protection tanning won't GIVE you cancer. Sun burnning Is very harmful.
