I'm leaving my current company soon.. I'd like to maintain a good relationship with my bosses / colleagues and do not wish to burn bridges.

How best can I write in a thank you - farewell email to both my bosses and fellow colleagues? I'd like to extend my deepest appreciation to them for the help and guidance given to me during my stay in the company.

Please help me out here.. Thanks very much!

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I am leaving my position at ABC Corporation. I will be starting a new position at XYZ Company next month.

I have enjoyed my tenure here and I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with you. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my time at ABC. Even though I will miss my colleagues and the company, I am looking forward to this new challenge and to starting a new phase of my career.

Please keep in touch, I can be reached at my personal email address (xxx@gmail2.com) or at home, 555-121-2222.

Thanks again for everything.

do you mean a letter of resignation, or a seperate letter later on to signal your appreciation? A letter of resignation could cover both issues- just saying that because you're pursuing other opportunities your last day of employment will beXXX.
Extend your willingness to help bridge any gaps with your replacement, and thank you so much for the opportunities that were presented to you during your time of employment.

Dear fellow workers,
It was great to work and play with you thru the years..remember when we use to run around naked on casual friday and how you all helped me get over my fear of staplers...and boss, you were so understanding when i said it was just a silly prank when i sent you pics of your favorite coffee mug in the toilet...and so forgiving of that time i snuck onto your computer and sent out all those suggestive emails to the entire company....and i will cherish all the initial misconceptions i had about you. love you all.
