I'm not sure. I know all those Audrey Hepburn movies my mom had me watch affected my taste in women, and my father and his love for NASCAR affected my taste in men. But how I became bi to begin with...well, I don't know. I feel like I've been 50/50 all my life. And I certainly can't answer for others.

properly in my very own experiances as to no longer comforming with a sexual oriantation I somewhat have got here across many opportunities of the reason of homosexuality. between the main primary theiries in psychology is that something seen or an imfluence can consequence a childs sexuality. there is likewise the concept that's a genetic dissorder or the recent perception that our genes create homosexuals to regulate the human inhabitants. As for me i think of that homosexuals could additionally hit upon the feremons of their comparable gender and additionally act upon the single they desire the main, like moths and a lot of alternative animals do. As for actual attraction that's barely like staring at a especially image, the two women folk and men persons have distinctive likes and dislikes. Ever word how warm men and warm women in a roundabout way constantly finally end up being buddy? that's because of the fact they examine one yet another out yet wont admit it out loud. In a manner we are all a sprint gay :D

I think it might effect the expression of one's orientation, but I don't think that socialization has much of an effect at all on one's true orientation.

Not at all. I was raised in a very religious household. My dad is a pastor. They dont condone homosexuality at all. But i'm a lesbian. Now my surroundings as far as the city i live in, is very tolerable towards the LGBT community. I live in the bay area of california, about 30 minutes outside of San Francisco. This makes it a little easier to be 100% comfortable of my sexuality, but i still know that some people strongly disagree with my lifestyle. Do i care?? Not one bit. I live life for myself and for my happiness.

I don't think so, but then again, identical twin studies have shown cases where one twin is gay/bi, and the other is not, so I suppose it can't only be genetics. Perhaps hormones in the womb... Well, what we do know is that it's not influenced by gays around the child when they are young, not by sexual abuse as a child, and not by spontaneous, "hey, I think I'll be gay!" Technically, we don't know why it happens, but it's a dandy variation with no negative "side effects" so I'm not going to worry about it.

It didnt for me. Was raised (has i like to put it) Consertive, republican, Christian evnviroment; where if it wasnt found in the bible or if the bible condemed its wrong (a point my mom made against me when i came out). So no enviroment doesnt influence.

Oh, not at all. My parents are both very conservative and tend to go off at the mouth about such things as homosexuality and bisexuality. I was raised to believe men should be with women and women should be with men, there is no in between. I was raised to be a very feminine girly girl, which I am! I did the cheerleader thing, the dance team thing, I get manicures and love styling my hair...I just happen to be a bisexual feminine girly girl.

No, because if I have to 'select' an environment to be gay in - I would never be happy. I live my life to the fullest, and I'm out to just about everyone I know who is important in my life.

I'm not hesitant to answer anyone's question whether or not I am gay - if they don't like what they hear - that's not my problem neither.

I have to be happy inside, before I can be happy outside. If I can do it inside 24/7 then I can do it outside 24/7 and try staying in one spot 24/7 .. it just doesn't happen.

Thanks

It sincerely does. I live in NYC and believe homosexuals have a very very big influence on people of all ages.... Living in areas like rural areas or Paradise, PA will distance you from that. You might know about it but if anyone is practicing it, they may be on the down-low. How you are raised may have a little influence but you must consider the nature vs nurture theory
