Just hit 38 weeks today too!!! I have same exact problem, its not labor yet, just getting ready for labor. I get this Jackhammer pain in my lower back all the time, and the pressure on my crotch is killing me, especially if i am sitting in a certian position and get up to walk to the bathroom. I feel I am tearing into two pieces. Sometimes my legs dont want to work. The heartburn is enough to make me cry, and now after every meal I have to sit on the couch with my eyes closed in order not to puke everything up. Just try to imagine that your baby will be here soon, and complain alot thats what I do... everyone wants to strangle me now, but its my only release. Maloox is my only best friend... I have a intimate relationship with the bottle by bedside.

First of all congatulations! Now, the acid indegetions is normal! Don't worry. An old wives tale says alot of acid indegetions means alot of hair. I had the same problem and my daughter has a FULL head of hair came out with it and she's three months old now and not one strand fell out. Your lower abdomen and lower back in a lot of pain more then likely means that your baby has "dropped" meaning it's on it's way down the birth cannal! Now don't take that as the baby will just flop out any second it just means that the baby's head is at the top of the birth cannal. If I were you I would call the doctor and let them know your symptoms they may give you something for the heart burn so that you can eat and the back pain well you can take tylenol for that. Just regular though no extra strength. You'll be fine I assure you all normal pregnancy stuff!

I had these symptoms when I was in labor...I could not eat for a couple of days b4 she was born..everything came back up. Could just be pregnancy stuff I guess. I would call your Dr and let them know. It will make you feel better and that is what they are there for. Good Luck and God Bless

I have the same problems and I'm 26 weeks so I hope that its not a sign of labor.
Unfortunately it's just the pregnancy.
Good Luck!

1st. call your Dr. now.
This can be both symptoms or labor. I had these symptoms myself with both babies. One was normal pregnancy the other was very difficult and was an early birth 7 mos.

the indigestion may be the baby and/or your uterus pushing on your stomach and the back pain may be the baby's head down in your pelvis. you want to drink milk for the burning and you want to walk for 10 mins. or so around the block or to the store ect. then you want to rest. i have back pain to but im 32 weeks. good luck. and rest!!!!
