There are lots of issues, maybe I can help you get started.

Insurance companies, do they have the right to know what disease factors you are at risk through, and if so, can they refuse coverage?

Genetic testing, if parents know ahead of time that their child will have certain diseases, will they abort the child? Do we run the risk of trying to get "designer" kids through testing?

If a person has the high risk factor for alcoholism can they be flagged and can establishments refuse to serve them?

Tracking. Will we all eventually be forced to give DNA samples (at birth) so each of us can be tracked at any time?

There are no controversies save 1: religion. Lose religion and the genetice stuff would be fine. (Even with religion it's fine, but the idiot followers will never wake up).
