I don't know! Why does Northern Ireland not suffer from tornadoes, hurricanes and tsunami?

put simply
tornadoes - northern ireland does. the complex weather and mixing of cold and warm air masses do create small tornadoes

Huricanes - need tropical seas to spawn and sustain a huricane, N I doesnt have the tropical seas so no huricanes

Tsunamis - NI could experience on of these although the chance is slim. tsunamis are normally caused by tectonics shifting material in oceans. since NI is on a stable part of the crust tsunamis wont develop (easily) nearby, the chance comes from collapse of land in say iceland or north america sending the tsunami across the atlantic

hope this clears it up

Hurricanes are a tropical phenomenon; the water off Ireland is too cold to support them. Tornadoes, like hurricanes, require a source of warm moist air, and also require a source of cold dry air to interact with it, and the North Atlantic is not a good source of such. A tsunami could occur, but the North Atlantic basin does not have a lot of earthquakes.

There's no tectonic plate edges around there (only in iceland, and I won't elaborate further) so there can't be any underwater earthquakes causing tsunamis - that's that.

There's no hills - no REAL hills - around to keep heavy winds in, so they can't cause tornados - that's that one.

As for hurricanes, I don't know. My completely wild guess would be because the temperature in Northern Ireland, as well as the rest of the island is very moderate. No extremes and so they don't cause extreme natural 'disasters'.
