Keeping a journal is definetly not girlish. It is a way to relieve stress, be creative and learn about yourself. Many people use use journals to write lyrics to music, to sketch and to help themselves with their problems. As long as you're writing your journal for youself and not for another to criticize, it's a great tool to broaden certain aspects of your life and learn about yourself.

It's not girlish. I had one when I was a teenager til my mom found it. ( I was pi**ed!) A journal is place to write down and organize your thoughts. Nothing wrong with that.

Dairy is girlie, but a journal is not, but do you really need public approval before doing something you want to?
