please interpret my wife's dream?

Question

She is on her way home from college, going through a field as a short cut.
In the field a man is riding a handmade sport car which resembles a bob sleigh, which he rides in between two quite high rocks (my wife is looking down on the scene at this moment). The man then gets out and runs off.
My wifes mum then tells her that it (the car/bob sleigh ) is not run on ........(?) but gas instead. Then her mum and some others go off in one direction while a few seconds later it registers with my wife what is going to happen next but she goes in the opposite direction to the others in a rush.
As she runs the car/bob sleigh explodes behind her and my wife literally feels the vibrations (as she is dreaming this!) as she carries on running, the field around her to the front continues to have slightly smaller explosions, which scares her as they are quite close but manages to avoid them. Eventually she finds somewhere safe (a cross between a school and boat) and her mum finds her a bit later.

OK, I don't know if you wife is going or has gone to college, but on the surface it seems as if she has a desire to go back to college or desires to learn something new for a living. The man represents part of her riding along through life, so she is looking down at herself (she's reviewing her life). He runs off to avoid the explosion. Wifey mum appears telling her something and then running off, but your wife decides to go the opposite direction. Which means your wife opposes something her mum says or agrees with. Which is fine. The vibrations she feels signify that this opposition affects your wife strongly and she will avoid the major trouble she was warned about. She finds safety between school and a boat. A boat signifies travel. So, I'm wondering if you and/or your wife haven't been thinking or discussing about taking a trip somewhere or she has been thinking about changing careers and she knows that her mum won't like it. As the dream ends, mum finds her, which means that at the end, after your wife's decision has been made, mum will be ok with it. Now, if wifey mum isn't really an issue then mum signifies your wife's sub-conscience and basically, she's having inner turmoil regarding a major issue.

The destination between the 2 rocks represents the unknown, we all have a symbol of the unknown in every dream weather we know it of not because there is always something in our life’s that can be labeled as unknown, how much is gas going to cost today; What am i going to eat for dinner? Who is going to pick up the kid from school? Her unknown is something she is trying to avoided, maybe she does not want to find out what is behind the rocks because she fears that something bad might happen to her. And the something does happen, the car explodes thus showing her it is ok not to face her fears. But we know that that is not the case, for the ground around her starts to explode as well.

The reason your wife felt vibrations is because this was the highlight of her dream, her brain was telling her to listen and remember this if nothing else because when she was running away from the explosion, explosions where consuming her. The man on the car is who she wants to be, but she cant be him because she is to busy running through change not wanting to stop and take a chance of dieing of finding something she never would have known. We learn that if she had gone with the others she would have survived due to the fact that her mother did. I advise your wife to take more risks because she has a lot of common sense and sometimes that doesn’t work out in the end. Sometimes the thing we could have sworn we knew, turn out to be something the complete opposite.

Parents sometimes keep things from children because they don’t think it necessary, that is what her mother symbolizes, she will never know what was behind those rocks because her mother wont tell her.
