Yeah.....sort of don't make much sense does it? I honestly believe they think there are magic money trees out in back of congress that you can just get money from there any time you wish.

The spread of misuse of money runs rampant through the government. Having said that, the US government is light years better than a huge number of countries. A section of the liberals pick a target, companies, because parts of society view big companies as faceless and therefore subject to abuse and such. You see this in law cases across the country. Keep in mind a lot of companies do get tax breaks and take that social security that everyone has paid into. There is also a lot of tax breaks, loop holes, etc. etc. Companies currently move overseas for a lot of reasons: They don't have to pay as much or any for health care, they don't have to pay as much for people that really, really want to work (not always the case here), sometimes the company can get workers that have a higher education for much less, there are significant tax breaks, almost as if the old administration liked it better that way, companies do not have to follow the same regulations for safety, pollution, ridiculous guidelines, not so ridiculous guidelines and much much more.
Just some thoughts.

With all due respect, you've been misinformed.
I'd suggest that you actually look at what an educated liberal economist has to say. Yes, they exist.
No liberal wants companies taxes to death. That's hyperbole, on your part. However, we do want businesses to pay their share. As it stands, some (but definitely not all) business pay substantially less in taxes (as a percentage of income) than good working people. Why should two hard working people, who just want to raise some good moral kids, have to spend more of their income on taxes than a corporation?
It's a matter of fairness. I'm sure YOU'RE for fairness, aren't you?
Companies aren't being taxes to death. And no one is suggested that they be.
We are, however, against companies making boatloads of money of US citizens, only to contribute nothing back.
Do YOU want to buy goods and services from countries that spit on the US? Surely not.

Maybe because mega corporations make billions on the backs of poor people and they want to distribute the wealth better rather than have it go into paying executives millions of dollars per year and widening the gap further between rich and poor.
Taxes help the little Joe, with infrastructure, big companies need to contribute rather than just pocket it. What good is it to the country if all they do is squirrel it away?

One has to look no further than France and Airbus to see what will happen if the liberals have their way. Libs tax businesses because they see it as easy money for their social programs. I agree there needs to be a better health care system for the impoverished but it need not come at the expense of jobs.
Amazing isn't it that libs also support the tax attorneys and accounting business; who reap a fortune from each of us every year and that the IRS is one of the largest and most inept agencies in the US Government. What does that tell you?

I just want them to be taxed fairly. In the link provided, many companies actually make money off taxes. Meaning their taxes are negative.

Because it's not your fault. It never is. It's the governments', the corporations and anyone who makes a buck. Why should you have to pay for anything if it's not your fault? They'll just get the money from who they think is the bad guy, so that we can make more and more subsidies and tell more and more people that when they're wrong, it's not their fault, and the government will pay for whatever has hapened.

Because the gap between the rich and poor has grown some 300% since the 60s. It is time to turn some billionaires into millionaires again and show some real trickle down economics.
I don`t care if they move over seas as long as they are not collecting in U.S. dollars.

Wellll at least we didn't vote for bushherooni.
I'm not trying to offend anyone here, but according to a professor that was interviewed on NPR yesterday..(no i don't listen to it on my own time, im stuck listening to it everyday because of my parents)..anyways. yes, this professor said that he would give Bush's dad a B, Clinton a C, and our lovely current president a whopping fat F.
He is a failure...a historical catasrophe..
ok, i'm really off topic. Idk where you got that thing about liberals taxing companies to death. but conservatives tax poor people to death, so I guess we're about even, eh?
