what is the best hip carrier to buy for my baby?

Hes 15 lbs. hopefully something from walmart or target?

Don't waste your money on a cheap carrier. Get an MeiTai or Ergo or Mayawrap or hotsling (you can google any of these) it will be more comfortable for both of you and last until he is a toddler.

Baby has to be able to sit up by himself before you can put him in a hip carrier. Try a sling or front carrier, they have them both on Walmart.com.
