My webcam (Logitech Quickcam) isn't working. when i go to install it, about 75% thru the installation, a box pops up and says that something from the installation or whatever is 'missing' and it could not complete the installation. it was working before... now i dont know whats wrong with it. any ideas/tips? please help! thank you!!!!

Un-install any old webcam drivers and re-boot. Then, download the latest drivers from Logitech for your version of Windows AND webcam. Then, install the new drivers before you connect the USB cable.

When finished, connect your webcam and it should work.

If not, test the camera on a friend's PC, it may be defective.

just install the driver then you plug the webcam to then the usb, it will detect it and install only the required file. if it don't work, download the driver from the net.

Select the camera you have and then download the swoftware. Your disk may have a scratch or something on it that is not allowing your CD-Rom to read it. So try to download the software and install it.

download the drivers from online.. than it will work...
