I have atleast 20 polo shirts thats the same brand. But some seems to shrink more than others and I just dont understand why? I wash them in cold water & tumble dry in medium heat.
Some polo shirts dont shrink as much as others no matter how I wash or dry them. WHY??????????

to answer your question on why some shrink more then others is because some are preshrunk prior to reaching the store. They dont always label that though.

To prevent shrinkage of course you cold wash as you do but you use low heat or air dry, even then there will be sum shrinkage but less then med heat.

Also watch the labels for things like preshrunk, extra material to compensate for shrinkage etc.

Laundry Room Drying Bar
Cotton button-down shirts, which have a tendency to shrink, are best removed from the dryer while slightly damp, then air-dried. Unlike a drying rack, which holds a few shirts at most, a bath-towel holder mounted on the underside of a laundry room shelf makes a good spot for a row of shirts on hangers. The bar can also be helpful when you're ironing; hang pressed shirts as you work.

Wash them in cold water and do not dry them. I believe some shirts shrink more than others because of the amount of cotton in the fabric.

Hang dry your polo's. Throw in dryer on fluff after they have line dried. Some shrink more than others because of the fabric. Fabric does not maintain the same exact fiber construction, there will always be a variable.

Cold wash & hang them to dry instead of putting them in the dryer.

just let them air dry instead. they're most likely shrinking in the dryer.

and it depends on what the fabric is... some shrink more easilt than others, like wool for example.
