I'd like to go to a Hanshin Tigers game. However, it appears that the Tigers are very popular and maybe their games sell out. For the March 30 - April 1: Carp @ Tigers (Osaka Dome) games, how hard will it be to get tickets? Is one day easier to get tickets for than the others in the three game series? How long before the game should we arrive to be able to purchase tickets on game day?

Is there a way to purchase tickets in advance and then pick them up at a will call type window like we could for a game in the U.S.?

my experience with the Hanshin Tigers indicates the same opinion as yours. I live in Tokyo and usually I can get same day tix for most games except when the Tigers come to town. On a family trip to Hiroshima, I found it hard to get hotel rooms because the Tigers were visiting the Hiroshima Carp. The stadium is near the Genbaku Dome and the place was filled with Tigers fans visiting the Peace Park before game. I checked on bleacher seats that day also and they were sold out. Advance purchase is available if you have a Japanese address, credit card and can understand Japanese enough to purchase online.
