MCR- Their style is more agressive rock, occasionally screamo. Generic beats and instrumentation. Lyrics deal with heartbreak/death/anger usually.

FOB-less agressive/screamo, more pop/rock sound. somewhat creative lyrics, normal instrumentation (guitar, bass, drums, vocal)...have been leaning toward the "pop" side, especially in their last album.

Panic! at the Disco: Creative instrumentation including keyboard, cello, synth, etc. Very creative lyrics that aren't as storylike as FOB or MCR...often based on books. Frequent style/beat changes within a piece of music. Most of their sound sounds gypsy-ish due to tinkling piano and string sounds.

Hope that helps!

There difference is in the style of music they "write" and play. Each may sound similar but have different things in mind for their music, despite what ignorant children like to label them as. I doubt any of them would consciously called themselves "punk" but have been slapped in that general genre.

p!atd has kind of a cabarre style to them. mcr has kind of a dark humor to their songs. fob is the prepppiest of all these but they still call themselves punk

They're all exactly the same. They just write songs to take money out of teenager's pockets, who think each of them is amazing until the next one comes around.
