Yes....Viagra was given to 6 pre-mature babies to assist with lung function in Britain back in August of 2006. It was announced today that it is also being used to treat other reduced lung capacity diseases in the elderly in the US.

It's very possible. My cousin was given viagra and a lot of it, to help him with his heart and lung function. He eventually passed away, but the viagra kept him alive a long time.
