Of course if I am out in public I eat off a plate but at home......I have this melmack (spelled wrong) bowl that is a bit large and that is my "nobody is looking" bowl so I can sit on my bed and eat while watching my favorite show.

I use a bowl, fork and spoon. from the italians I know it is the correct way to eat it. I guess everyone is different though. It doesn't slip out of a bowl as easily as it slips off a plate.
