I am not anemic , but I am slightly clumsy. However, these bruises are really severe and I think it might be something more serious than "I bruise easily."

Go see a Hemotologist....a blood doctor basically. Talk to your primary & get a referral cause that's usually the only way to be able to go see a specialist like that. My mom has the same problem & she was found to have developed a clotting disorder where she has a platelet deficiency. She's always bruised easily but now when she does it gets dark, nasty & sometimes very big (depending on the injury that caused it). If she gets a cut or something her blood still clots but just takes longer than normal to do it. If she's gotta have a surgery or anything done she's gotta get a platelet transfusion beforehand too.

I'm not saying that's what you have, cause it could be anything, but it's just to give you a general idea. Good luck & I hope they find out what's wrong.....

You can't just go off and see any public doctor, only private ones which usually dont take health insurance. Talk to your regular doctor and they will refer you to any specialists if deemed necessary.
