It's not that people pay more attention, it's that the media forces things down our throats so we have no choice but to watch. They may not have anything to offer society but when they're put on a pedestal, we're given the false impressions that they are over and above us "normal" people. It's wrong for them to be like that - and we wonder what's wrong with society.

that KISS guy was on tv yesterday
tons of women flocking to him
cuz he is rich from putting on high heels and screaming back in the 70s
very very strange, I wouldn't walk across the street to talk with him.
Same for most celebs. Shallow people who are full of themselves for no good reason I think.
Ordinary people are better.

coz discussing celebrities is not as personal as discussing bout their family problems.. some people did not reveal their home probz wit strangers or even their own frenz, so this celebrities provide a common topic of conversation to talk bout with neighbours, colleagues and frenz, without feeling guilty and avoiding any personal topics..
