Deceptive - alien poses as the sun god Ra for the purpose of keeping a village enslaved.
Vindictive - when the villagers (the people on Abydos) catch on to the secret, out come the death gliders blasting away at everybody.

In the movie the god that the alien is pretending to be is Ra (sp) the egyptian sun god. as far as attributes I can't think of any so I'm at a loss there.

It was the god Ra that a snake-alien was pretending to be. Like all other goa'uld he had a big ego--Hubris and he was definitely Vengeful--not putting up with any crap.
