Happens to me all the time. The comments I've had from this site are anything from funny to downright evil. One guy told me he was coming round to rip my p*nis off, and a girl emailed to ask me to be her Internet boyfriend. The first one was physically impossible, and the second one wouldn't have worked out either. Other Taylors on the site, but they use a girly avatar. I just haven't got round to finding an avatar yet. With you having a girl's name, you'd think people would realize

Okay I went back and read some of your questions and I can honestly say that your wording "I want someone to plough me" and "How do you find people on the Internet to have sex with" don't exactly scream femininity. You have to realize that most guys don't think that a girl would have any difficulty finding someone local to her location willing to have sex with her if that was her only objective. I must admit I feel the same way myself. So simply by asking for how to find people to have sex with you calls your true identity into question. Then of course your lack of a female avatar makes people think you are hiding your identity.

Maybe it has to do with the kinds of questions you ask or how you ask them.
Don't worry about it. I just found out someone I have known online for years is a man... Because he's from a different country and I'd never heard his name at any other time, I thought it was a woman's name. He filled me in the other day, and *I* was the one who was embarrassed.
If they don't believe you, ignore them.

You should make an avatar so that they have a face to look at. The generic avatar is a man, so when we look at the picture, we see and think of a man. If we looked at you avatar, and saw a girl, we'd be more likely to see you as such.

I don't know if it happens to other people but why do you care? Maybe if you create an avatar people would know you are a girl. Don't sweat the small stuff. What other people think doesn't matter.

Possibly because your profile has a pic of a dude on there. Why not create a new Avatar?

Hey DUDE, find a girl avatar or insert your picture and that mistake may stop happening.
