i want to learn about organic chemistry

It would help if you said what your level of education is, so we can better direct you to some resources. I'm assuming you're about high-school level. In general, wikipedia is a very good place to start:

Your local public library may have some science books, if it does then they might have an organic chemistry textbook. You could probably look on ebay--old editions of organic chemistry textbooks can be bought for less than $5. I've used the Vollhardt book myself, it's pretty readable (it was certainly better than my professor).

Lastly, many community colleges offer organic chemistry, and often for very low prices--less than $100 (for comparison a college/university course would cost you >$1000). You could always ask the instructor's permission to just sit in on such a course without even paying, they're usually pretty nice about it.

Organic chemistry is the chemistry of carbon. Carbon can hold onto 4 things. Carbon can bond to itself forming chains, branched chains and rings.
